Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
This course provides a basic foundation in pre-hospital emergency medical services care, as per procedures developed by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Prerequisites are:
A. Must be 16 years of age or older.
B. Prioritized Department of Health selection process enforced.
The program will be a minimum of 160 hours with combined lecture and practical skill sessions. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be eligible for certification from the NREMT and the PA Dept. of health as an EMT.
January 14 through April 1, 2025
Mandatory Zoom orientation on January 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Hybrid learning with in-person skills sessions typically Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
