Women in Sciences & Engineering (WISE)

This camp will give students experience with a variety of scientific disciplines. They will look at citizen science efforts, play digital games that are used for real-life research (RNA via ETERNA), grow crystals, isolate bacteria, and learn about different branches of engineering and science, specifically in regard to sustainability.
The students will use their creativity and experience in the class to solve problems and cooperatively form solutions. Each student will keep a daily journal to reflect on their experiences.
